Hitesh Patel pursued his higher education in the field of Defence and Strategic Studies, developing a strong academic foundation in security studies, strategic thought, and national security affairs. He has qualified the UGC-NET examination multiple times, including securing the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), reflecting his academic excellence in the discipline. He is currently engaged in doctoral research in Defence Studies at Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, with a research focus on Indian Border Management. He is also the founder and mentor of Defence Gyan DSS (DGDSS), an academic mentoring initiative established to guide aspirants preparing for UGC-NET, JRF, Assistant Professor examinations and higher research opportunities in Defence and Strategic Studies.
